about house in the park

an internationally known, music experience –
For everyone.

House in the Park™ is a musical exploration of the soul and a vision to see House Music become a unifying movement, transcending every strata of society- ethnic identification, race classification, age and lifestyle. DJ Ramon “Rawsoul” Guyton, the visionary behind Rawsoul Entertainment, and Kai Alce, the man behind record label NDATL, launched House in the Park™ in 2005, as a gift to the city and the community that supports the monthly music-social offering “The Gathering.” HITP adds much needed variety to the Atlanta music scene and features a range of House Music’s emerging local, regional, and international talents. DJ Ramon Rawsoul orchestrates this effort simply for the joy of bringing his favorite music genre to life in a tangible, meaningful way.

the Lineup

  • Ramon Rawsoul

Hailing from the Southside of Chicago, Il, the birth place of house music, it was no coincidence that Ramon Rawsoul would follow a path paved by legendary music greats. Ramon Rawsoul has managed to garner his own following and create a sound unique and indicative to the “raw soul” experience.

  • Kai Alcé

Kai Alce doesn’t settle down, blend in or go along. That integrity comes through in every gig he’s worked from his early days at Detroit’s Music Institute when he was just teenager, to the 10-year-long DEEP legacy at MJQ that he co-founded, to the production company, NDATL, that he created in 2008.

  • DJ KEMIT

You know KEMIT because as a DJ, he’s woven a sonic tapestry of house music standards, rare soul grooves, Afrobeat and hip-hop classics that have made party-goers and tastemakers put him on the short list of the world’s best DJs for nearly 20 years.

  • Salah Ananse

With over 20 years as a producer and DJ on the Atlanta music scene, Salah Ananse’s rhythmic instrumentation and smooth layered vocals make his sound unique and distinguishable among the rest.
